PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

During a routine observation of coastal marine vegetation, a leafy seadragon was documented making repeated adjustments to an arrangement of algae and seagrass assembled within a discarded shell.

Several stems were repositioned before the specimen appeared satisfied with their placement.

One stem was repositioned repeatedly.

Leafy seadragons naturally possess elaborate leaf-like appendages that provide remarkable camouflage among marine vegetation. No evidence, however, suggests that this resemblance qualifies them to make aesthetic decisions regarding its arrangement.

Because each item is produced to order, we do not accept returns for buyer’s remorse, incorrect size selection, or color preference.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, misprinted, or incorrect, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we’ll work with you on an appropriate replacement, refund, or resolution.

To report an issue, email support@unnaturalfaunaclub.com with your order number and a brief description of the problem. Photos may be required so we can document and resolve the issue.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

HOW TO PRESERVE YOUR SPECIMEN

This garment has survived classification, documentation, and questionable natural history. Continued survival now depends on you.

  • Wash cold, inside out with similar colors.
  • Use mild detergent. Avoid bleach and harsh cleaning agents.
  • Wash separately before first wear where possible. Garment-dyed fabrics may release some excess pigment during early washes.
  • Tumble dry low or hang dry. Lower heat helps preserve the fabric, fit, and printed artwork.
  • Avoid fabric softener where possible.
  • Do not iron directly over the artwork. Turn the garment inside out or use a pressing cloth.
  • Do not dry clean.

ARCHIVAL NOTE: High heat remains one of the leading causes of premature specimen deterioration.
